Came back from Ella's dance Nationals to do our race thing.
Was a great week at the beach cheering on my amazing sister but now its time to work hard in the car.
Funny story the picture for this week is me, my dad and Grandpa watching Ella's last dance of the week right before I got on track. She placed 3rd with her amazing solo.
IT IS HOT. This is the hottest weather I have ever raced in. I have had to learn to keep my cool literally and that there is more to racing then just going fast. You have to be able to battle adversity and deal with some tough situations. We did batch qualifying today and I was 7th out of 15. This had me starting 3rd in the feature. We were not the fastest in our race and have some things to work on. The leader was so fast he lapped the whole field.... THATS amazing. I ran second for a lot of the race but got passed by a faster car with only a few laps to go and settled for 3rd.
